Congratulation to our 9-Ball 2006 South Coast Champions. Two of the three winning teams competed with an absentee Team Captain while the third's captain returned from Arizona (their new home) to take part in the event.
A special mention and heart-felt "KUDOS" to team Delta House for their awesome repeated displays of sportsmaship. Players on this team called their own fouls and gave up ball-in-hand more than once when no one other than the shooter knew they had fouled (the other team had no idea). The one incident of questionable sportsmanship (by their opponents) was taken in stride and did not affect their own conduct throughout. Hats-off to you Delta House!

I would like to thank Taz and Phil for a great tournament, and for making it possible for us to participate in the National Tournament.
As for the incident with the Delta house team I take personal responsibility for it and again apologize to them. It was out of character for our team to do that and I hope you do not hold it against our team. I hope your team has good memories from the tournament.
Congratulations to all the players that qualified for Nationals. Best of luck, and we will see you in Vegas. |

Thanks for the kinds words Taz. We try to display what this league is about no matter what the situation is. On a personal note I just want to add how proud of my team I am and I would not want to play in this tournament with anyone else. To my Foothill division brothers and sisters. The House will be in Vegas right behind you all the way. |
