Posted - 03/13/2008 : 09:12:13 AM I was just curios, when is your skill level frozen, and sent to the tournament?
I have 3 players on my team that go back and forth between 4-5 5-4 and 2-3?
If they decided there shooting order based on the week they turned in the shooting order form is that the skill level we will be at in the tournament for round 1?
By no means is this a sandbagging question or intended to encourage it. All the players i am speaking of are really on the BUBBLE....
Please advise.

Posted - 03/13/2008 : 2:28:30 PM Hi Derrick,
All teams must be at or below the maximum combined SL14 at the time they enter the tournament (that was February 30). Skill levels are only "momentarily frozen" to build the teams and enter them into the the tournament database. Your team entered legally on that date, so you have no worries.
All teams are asked to complete and turn in a Team Skill Level Certification Form at registration. Players whose SL increase prior to the event should certify themselves at the higher SL. Those who don't run the risk of disqualification.
As for your shooting order, once it is submitted, it is set. Skill level changes do not affect the shooting order. |
