To all my loyal subjects:
As you know, i am Phil and Taz's favorite which is quite evident by the large sum they pay me to be your division rep. They have offered to change the title to something more regal, however I feel as though I have trained you all well enough to fear me on your own.
Having said that, I would like see if we can all strike a deal. These late nights are killing me (that is how Kenny was killed as well). I would like to ask that every team try to get players there early as needed so we can start each match at 7:30pm. As a thanks, I will offer to take your paper work each time that happens and drop it off. As an added bonus, if I fail to have my players ready to go, you may slap Jay once for each minute we are not at the table.
How can you say no to that? JB |

Actually Jon and I did this last night and we were done by 11:30pm. So it works!!!
If the captains and co-captains have to put up next they should alert the person and make sure they are on deck watching that current match. They can also inform the opposing team so their captain can alert their player to be on deck as well. This is pretty much how the tourneys are run. Save's time.
Siam Lim, Jon the Royal Pain-er-Prince, Terri Planette, and Darryl Frame pretty much do this now. Many times with other teams it becomes a team conference on who to play when it's their turn to put up or the team captain is away and no one on the other team is informed who to put up. Currently everyone on my team knows who to put regardless if it is our put up or not. Yes I am that anal to strategize it and put it on paper (oh yeah so is the lovely Siam). The aforementioned Captains (with the exception so his Highness - cause he just pulls it out of his... uh let's say he just wings it) all have a strategy before-hand. That means they go to our wonderful website print out stats and review etc. I am not proposing all the teams do that, but on League night at least share with your team who you want to play when it is your put up - Please! Sometimes even I have to hunt down the other captain or even their player if the captain is playing just to keep things rolling.
Unfortunately I don't think all the captains go to the message board and I highly doubt they read the newsletter cause this subject was on the last newsletter. So I don't really know if this is the correct forum if not all the captains read the message board.

O.K. Thanks Jon.
I will take you up on your offer. My team is almost always on time, so should I call you Monday evenings to come and pickup my paper work when we are done, or are you just going to assume we were on time and automatically show up to get it? I wish our division rep on Mondays was as generous as you are. I think he is kind of an Ass myself, but that is just my opinion.
