As all of you undoubtedly know, we have been experiencing technical difficulties with the web site for a few days now. The hosting company migrated our site to a new server, and screwed up a few things in the process. Working with their technical support staff is like pulling teeth. I have managed to find and fix a couple of the major issues myself, including getting this message board to work again. Unfortunately, we have lost a couple of weeks worth of messages and other site updates in the process. I can restore the other updates when they fix the remaining big issue, but I can't get the messages back.

The good news is that this happened on Sunday, so the updates aren't critical for a few more days. Hopefully the site will be back to normal by then. There may be some lingering problems caused by the migration, so if you notice anything send me an email and I'll get it fixed as quickly as I can.

I have even tried removing the battery and powering down (aka Raytheon reset). No luck. It is only 1 page on the site that persists in giving me this problem.
The browser on my NOKIA E62 is "MEdiaNet"

Clearing the cache and cookies might not help if your browser is caching DNS info (it didn't work for me). You may want to physically remove the battery from the device.

The stats part of the site hasn't changed for a long time (only the data), so if it's not the DNS issue it must have something to do with your browser. Has it been upgraded (manually or automatically) recently? What version of what browser does your PDA use?

Phil, I have cleared cookies and cache with no luck. I can see all other pages except the stats...

I don't know if the browser on your PDA has a DNS cache, but if it does you will want to clear it out. When we switched web hosts, all of the DNS changed and if your browser caches the IP address it won't find the new server. Even if you can get to the home page, the link for stats may be cached in your browser, especially if you have a shortcut to that page. Refreshing probably won't clear the DNS cache either. On my pc I had to edit the hosts file to force my browser to the new host and get the old IP address out of the cache. I don't know how it works on your PDA, you're on your own for that.

Phil,
Not too long ago I could access the Division Stats on my PDA. Now when I try and access that page I get "The Requested Page can not be displayed"...

After a month and a half of frustration with our web host's unreliable servers and completely useless technical support, I moved the site to a new host yesterday. Hopefully this one will be better - based on the quick replies and help I got while moving the site, they are already miles ahead of the old host. Let me know if you find anything I broke in the move...

Today I discovered that this message board hasn't been able to send out the "confirmation" email to anyone trying to register since the migration fiasco. After fixing the problem, I activated the accounts of those who I recognized, but deleted a couple of them, so if you tried to register but are unable to log in, you will have to register again.
