I was playing in leauge last night and in conversation with the opposing captian she told me of a situation she ran into a week or two prior.At the end of her night she did not have a fifth shooter and therefor knew she had to forefit however the fifth player on the opposing team would have put them at 24 points going over the limit.Now the kicker the captian whos team would have gone over in points told the oppnent that they had a fifth that would be playable therefor getting the forefit,however that player was not actually in the bar and hadn't shown up for leauge in about a month.Unfortunatly the forefiting captian was trusting and assumed that the player was there.Any feedback on this (what I think is an injustice)would be highly appreciated. |

Yes, that is against the rules. In order to receive a forfeit, a team must have a player available to play. Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about it after-the-fact, as nobody can say for sure now whether that player was present or not. If you suspect your opponent does not have that fifth player present, you should ask where the player is and if you don't already know them, check their Id.
