While knockin'em around at Moorpark, something happened that caused me to reflect. Now I ask you all to reflect and respond.
What are your favorite sayings? for at the pool table only. The saying I used "No one's that good" First spoken to me by Richard H.
The gentleman I was shooting with at the same time said "Who is this guy?" again first spoken to me by Richard H.
I am not trying to give Mr. H the credit, but I am curious... Think back to the time when you were new in the league. What were the phrases that made you laugh, Throw your hands up, anything that was good about back then.
I would like to hear examples of "...when it was just a game"
you know, you would think I would get tired of hearing, "you're right Bernardo" but I don't. LOL. |

Moviestar, I don't feel your comment was negative, I have bad experiences with that comment. "Defense Mark it." I have to let it go, because I am much better off that team. I apologize if you felt unworthy of commenting.
I was simply trying to keep the comments people could laugh at. Others may laugh at that comment so I again apologize. keep the comments coming that is why we do this!!

"Nothin' but net"...when making a shot. 
"A swing and a miss"...when missing a shot. 
"I've been working on that shot for weeks"...when slopping a seemingly impossible shot.

No. No good, phrases that get passed on from team to team, knowingly or not. phrases you have stolen to get a LAUGH. I wish for only positive statements here please.

I like the "defence, mark it", I know when I hear that I think, "Ehh" I like "Gotta Love the APA" on my team that is a must say for any incredible slop shot that we shoot. I know a lot of teams that do the same.
This one made me laugh everytime. Only when not spoken to me. "We are saving you for their 7" (or 9, depending on the night)
you know, you would think I would get tired of hearing, "you're right Bernardo" but I don't. LOL. |

Yes Theodore you are Correct,that happens to be the one you hear most often. But there are others such as "Let's Git Er Done" and "That's Exactly How i Would've Done it." Among others i would not Dare to mention in this particular Forum.  |
