This National Qualifier brought together some of South Coast's very best players. Several players who came just to watch were not disappointed. There were at least 6 matches (that I can remember) that were 10 innings or less. Jerry Lin and Danny Petralba went hill-hill in a 5-5 race with 6 total innings.

The final match featured Richard Haydt of Thousand Oaks (SL7) and Wayne Wisdom of Camarillo (SL6). This was Wayne's second consecutive trip to a final match. Congratulations to Richard Haydt, who will be representing South Coast APA at the 2008 National Singles Championships.
