Just curios why we can’t go to a non-smoking tournament room in Vegas. This is my 5th year in the SWC and it was the worst for us non-smokers. I mean the door is right there and I cant see why they couldn’t just not smoke during their match……This is a can of WORMS and yes I OPENED IT!!!!!!
Smoking at the Vegas tournaments is the one thing I dread the most. I allocate three set of clothes for every day of the events. Unfortunately Vegas is a Mecca for smokers. Although outside the APA events there are many casinos that are now non-smoker friendly, which is a relief.
Smoking is a right that people have, but this year the tournament room was bad. Everyone on my team spent their Sunday morning coughing or coming down with flu-like symptoms. We noticed that foosball and air hockey next door were smoke-free tournaments and I was wondering why the SWC could not apply the same rules. Considering the large amount of teams that come from CA, non-smoking would be the usual during matches.BUT... Everyone was really respectful if you asked them to smoke away from you during league play though!
