Can someone explain how the MVP Points are calculated in 8-ball and 9-ball.

Simply put, your MVP total is the sum of the skill levels of the players you've beaten this session.

Another question. Do the accumulation for MVP points continue during playoffs or do they stop before playoffs?

I am certain that the MVP points stop accumulating after the last week of the regular season (before the playoffs). Since not everyone makes the playoffs, it isn't fair to penalize a "hot" player just because their team was unable to place.
