So, my attempts to google this have failed. I'm hoping some of my knowledgable compatriots in the APA can help me with this.
One of my friends/teammates was recently gifted a cue from a family member who no longer used it. It's quite beautiful, about 20 years old but perfectly straight, and plays wonderfully.
There are no demarcations or words on it to distinguish the manufacturer. But it is handcrafted (you can tell because if you run your thumb over the inlays, there is the slightest hint of seam) and there is a caricature of a wizard drawn at the very bottom. I believe the wizard may in some way represent the manufacturer but I have drawn a blank. My friend is NOT interested in selling the stick. He only wants to know who made it and how much it might be valued at. Anyone who may have some insight, please reply.

I thought I had an answer for the mystery pool cue manufacturer but then I got "damned" and totally lost my train of thought. Sorry Torsten (a little about Monday  but mostly about Tuesday  )!

"Darning" is better for now. I'll try to get it up to "damning" again next season.
BTW - Richard, Jag tror att du inte dricker sa jag tycker du skall tala om for pojken att jag skall fa din stor och kalt ol i stallet. Tack och hej! Nu komme non andra pa snackar... |

Torsten, try connecting with a guy named Brett at Stiix Billiards 641-2020. He's quick on saying what a cue is and I know he's got lots of books regarding cue makers. Heck, he's got some cue books that look like a phone book. He doesn't work there but he's there alot. Tell him "smiling Ron" sent you.

I believe the cue was made by Crystal Leisure. They are a wholesale distributor for billiard supplies, but have some of their own products with a wizard logo.
