Has anyone else got an e-mail from pascal_dikko2005@yahoo.com with the subject being "Sent from South Coast APA" He claims to want to give me 20% of 10 million 500 thousand U.S. dollars and all I'd have to do is give him my bank account number and other personal information. Now if it was 25% I'd be interested ,but 20% I'd have to keep my day job.
Our webmaster (Phil) is on it. Here's the response he sent out to a few members who emailed us the first day this email appeared.
Yeah, several people got it. You have to jump through some hoops to send email like this, as the message board does not give out the email addresses (even to me). Someone had to take the time to (1) register on the message board, (2) go to the email address used to register and click on the confirmation link, (3) go back to the message board and log in, and (4) send the spam out one message at a time by listing the members and clicking "email member" for each one. I certainly hope someone hasn't developed software that's smart enough to do all that!
I deleted this user's account, which not surprisingly was just created yesterday morning. If it happens again I will disable email from the message board.
