No plans on Memorial Day Weekend? Give Singles Qualifiers a try. We'll be running "Guaranteed Qualifiers" (that means win of it's free). Come out, have fun and play pool for free. If you can string two wins in a row, you'll qualify for the Regional level of the Singles Program. You'll have two weeks to turn in your entry fee.
Saturday, May 26 at PJ's Pub in Thousand Oaks starting at 11:00am Sunday, May 27 at The Mix in Montrose starting at 1:00pm
You don't have to be there at start time. Just show up anytime during the day and you'll play on the next available board.
Eligibility Requirements: Must be active on a team in the same format as the board you play on; Must have a minimum of 10 actual match scores within the last 2 years; Must be willing to have fun and be a good sport.
Considering the short notice, we had a pretty good weekend and run 21 qualifier boards. Thanks to all who showed up. Everyone had a great time. We were particularly happy to see so many "first timers".
The month of June is pretty well packed with weekend tournaments (South Coast APA Championships & MVP tournaments). The only "free" weekend for us is June 16-17, but we (I) may need a break by then. Perhaps we can find a "volunteer" to run boards that weekend? It's not rocket science so, anyone willing?
