OK, let me start by saying "Me BAD"! Last week I played at PJ's againt (I think) The Purple Sheet Gang. I also believe the gentleman I played was Sheleph Christian. Either way, I am sure someone (P or T) will correct me if I am wrong (which I never am). I was doing really well in my match (so I thought) and was probably moving a little faster than I should have. I received ball in hand with just the eight ball left. I set the cue ball, looked at his remaining three, giggled, lined up, pulled back and started my stroke. Suddenly, my opponent says, "dude, your stripes." Sh*t, I almost lost the game! Now, I know a few folks that would have normally let me hit as many of their balls in as I could until I missed and then say, "oops, those were my balls. Ball in hand!" However, my opponent stepped up, showed his APA sportsmanship and did the right thing. Thanx buddy, you still killed me. But it was a lot easier to swallow the losing of my match, knowing I just lost to a repritable player with class than an a**. Thanx again!!! And Taz (Phil), I will try to find and fill out a form, but this, at least, let's everyone know that Sheleph is a hell of a guy. Thanx again!
ps. I know, the form is in my folder! Gotta find the folder... |

Sheleph is a good dude.
