Well here goes nothing............
Just curios why we can’t go to a non-smoking tournament room in Vegas. This is my 5th year in the SWC and it was the worst for us non-smokers. I mean the door is right there and I cant see why they couldn’t just not smoke during their match……This is a can of WORMS and yes I OPENED IT!!!!!!  |

Smoking is a right that people have, but this year the tournament room was bad. Everyone on my team spent their Sunday morning coughing or coming down with flu-like symptoms. We noticed that foosball and air hockey next door were smoke-free tournaments and I was wondering why the SWC could not apply the same rules. Considering the large amount of teams that come from CA, non-smoking would be the usual during matches.BUT... Everyone was really respectful if you asked them to smoke away from you during league play though!
On the bright side, we did have a lot of fun!

Smoking at the Vegas tournaments is the one thing I dread the most. I allocate three set of clothes for every day of the events. Unfortunately Vegas is a Mecca for smokers. Although outside the APA events there are many casinos that are now non-smoker friendly, which is a relief. |
