This is not like donating to a big charity where your money is just a drop in a very large bucket and makes very little difference.  This fundraiser will make a huge difference for the Vinson family. So every ticket sold matters. Any amount of money you can spare makes a difference.

Each league envelope contains 8 raffle tickets, a total of $16.00. I encourage all of the teams to buy all 8 tickets. If we do this than this fundraiser will be a smashing success, and the Vinson family will get some of the help they need. This is just a once a year event so it is not like we ask for something every month.

I am a team captain on 2 teams. I guarantee that all eight tickets on each night will be sold. I challenge all of the team captains to do the same.

Now it is not just about giving. The raffle has some great prizes. Check you league envelopes for a list of prizes we have.

But Seriously folks It was really great to see everyone and how they supported this fundraiser. It just goes to show you how much people can care. Here is a list of companies that donated prizes for the raffle. Aphrodites Golf n Stuff Buena Lanes Skating Plus Weaver Wines Country Inn College Florist The Greek at the harbor Baskin Robbins Century Theatres Ciao Bella Fusion Home Avenue tire Big Brand tire Archetexture hair salon Ojai Valley Inn River Ridge golf course Buenaventura golf course I hope I did not forget anyone. These businesses were kind enough to give to a cause that they knew nothing about. If you happen to be in one or see one of them, drop in and tell them thanks, and remember them when you do your christmas shopping. Also a big thanks to Nancy and the Lamplighter for doing this. It all started there.

Those of you who didn't make it, missed a fantastic time. And how about them Burgers! YUM!!! Kerry, once again, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! You are a gem. Wes and Tami, great job! You two did a fantastic job rallying everyone. Phil, thank you again for your help with the tournament board. I'm so glad you played too. What a fun day! Thank you so much! I'm glad Taz got to show up for a little bit. You two rock! Ok, kids, let's do it again next year, or SOONER! If anyone has a charity to raise money for, let's do it! If anyone still wants in, go by the lamplighter during the tournament on Saturday and get some tickets. The drawing will be about 7:00 pm Saturday.

I cannot believe the amount of stuff that has been donated for the raffle. I sure hope the word gets out cuz I see $$$ in the future for Michelle's benefit. Thanx to all the APA for everything thing, you guys and gals truly blow me away. Ps. Torsten, I haven't seen your registration yet nor your team members. You coming?
