| Will the matches played in Vegas for the Nationals this weekend factor in for the skill levels for the final week of playoffs? |

It's my understanding that they will, with a caveat ....
If for some reason your skill level is adjusted (UP), it will NEVER go down at Nationals, you or your team could in fact be disqualified.
The chances that your skill level is adjusted at Nationals are remote unless you have REALLY REALLY been sandbagging locally and you shot to your real potential there.

How Phil and Taz would handle the situation in the playoffs here is something they would have to address.
I would think that if you and your team can still make the "23 rule" you would be fine.

The answer to the original question is NO.
Matches played at nationals are scored there on APA's computers. It is not until a few weeks after the event that the data from nationals makes it into our local system. If your skill level changes mysteriously during the first few weeks of Fall Session, that's usually the reason ("I didn't play last week and I went up/down").
I think what the other Phil B is referring to is the National Lowest Attainable skill level that is applied to players who compete in national tournaments. That is explained in your Team Manual, and no, not everyone who attends/plays in a national tournament is "locked" at that skill level forever. That used to be the case, but it was changed several years ago. Now you actually have to demonstrate that you can be competitive with the skill level at which you play before APA will lock you in.

As stated in the APA Team Manual under Tournament Information & Rules, Disqualification will mean forfeiture of all titles, awards, prize money, and a minimum 2-year suspencion from the League.and yes, Phil & Taz would enforce the rule. |
