Ok...newbie question here. First of all, it's my first season in the APA & I am having a blast (everyone on my team is enjoying it.) All of our games have been competitive & the opposing teams have been the utmost "sportsmen" and "sportswomen" which is a surprise from some of the stories I had heard coming into the league.
One thing I have learned is that the nightly individual matchups are VERY important. While we get the weekly results by team, would it ever be possible to find out what the individual match-up results were week-to-week?
Something like: John Doe (4)(4-2)(23) where Mr. Doe played a 4, won 4 games to 2 with 23 innings total.
I dunno, maybe I'm just a little nervous in that we play the number 2 team in our division (we're a surprise #1) next Wednesday & they have the #1 rated player on our nights. Can you guess who has been nominated to play him?
Besides being nearly impossible to extract from our database in a reliable manner, that is not information that we would choose to publish to our members, so no, it won't happen.
I am glad you are having a good time playing in the APA. We do emphasize sportsmanship, so it's good to know the message is getting across. Most of the "stories" you may have heard are probably the result of personality conflicts between individual members, which happens from time to time when you get people together in a room and serve them alcohol...
